Book Week March 2019

Monday 4th March to Friday 8th March, we celebrated Book Week.  What a fun week packed with lots of exciting activities, including visits to the local library, class swap day, workshops and Parents Stay and Read sessions. Local authors, Joseph Hopkins and Katy Chalk, came in to discuss their books and what got them into writing, and Karen Stanley joined us to carry out some poetry workshops with the whole school.  On Thursday 7th March, World Book Day, children and staff came in dressed as characters from books - they looked great in their outfits!
