We worked with our school community to develop our Vision and Values and they underpin everything we do at Riverside. 

Our vision is to be a school community where every child belongs, every dream is encouraged and every heart is inspired to succeed.

We have a set of values words which sum up the key principles of our school and allow our children to show 'Riverside HEART'. These values are:

Ambition

Resilience

Teamwork

To achieve the Riverside vision, we put HEART into our learning. We nurture Happiness and Empathy to grow a kind community, while building Ambition, Resilience and Teamwork to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

To support our values, our wonderful children designed the Riverside HEART Squad, with characters to represent each value. Each character has a phrase that is important to their value, which supports our children in understanding and demonstrating them.
